English-Notes

ABSTRACT

One way to keep track of what I’ve learned in class is to take notes. These are my notes from October 22, 2019. Professor Joseph sent an email composing of 5 articles that we had to decipher based on the analytical strategies in the textbook. These strategies involved identifying the article’s hypothesis, explaining the experiment conducted, and present the results.

NY-Times-Response-Koala-Virus

ABSTRACT

As a class activity, we had to read pages 1-8 of the whistleblower’s report on the President’s phone call with Ukraine’s leader and a corresponding article written by a Professor at Harvard. Following the composition of the article, we were given homework. This assignment required us to read a NY Times science article and structure it in the same format as the professor’s response to the whistleblower’s report.

NY-Times-Response-Thailand-Tigers

ABSTRACT

This assignment required the class to read an article from the NYT science section and respond thoughtfully to the author’s intent. This was the 2nd NY times response assigned to the class. My response was more precise compared to my 1st NYT response because I received feedback from the professor on how to link my responses directly to the article. This response talked about the illegal trade in tiger parts and the conditions of the tigers in government-run facilities.
